The front of Ventos Maritimos beach house. Located just 70 metres from the oceanfront, this recently refurbished Seixas beach house is well appointed with balconies, terraces, hammocks, exterior granite dining table area and BBQ terrace. It is only a short walk from the beach restaurants where you can enjoy laid back beach style dining or bars according to your mood. Serving mostly freshly caught fish (off the beach) with costs around £2.00 and a meal for four with drinks should not exceed £10... quite an experience! Otherwise there is a lot of International cuisine only a 10 minute drive away such as pizzas, pasta and lots of steak dishes at nearby Cabo Branco. Very very European!
The glorious beach.
It is best to travel from the international airports of Natal or Recife to the town of Joao Pessoa by taxi. Once there hire a car locally as you will be able to benefit from the international supermarkets who have a tremendous choice of foods and other goods.

The new granite kitchen. Ventos Maritimos has a large open plan kitchen and dining area. This is very convenient for food preparation and alfresco eating in the adjoining covered utility area or on the large granite table and benches next to the BBQ terrace area. The whole area is paved in natural stone which makes it ideal for sitting out under the sun, enjoying the BBQ or relaxing under the southern stars after nightfall. Exterior lighting bathes the whole area which enables a convivial atmosphere to be maintained throughout the long warm evenings. The granite table and benches.





The beach house provides you with seven bedrooms and six shower rooms five of which are ensuite. Every bed and mattress is brand new and chosen for it's comfort. Most of the bedrooms have sea views with south west aspect. The large upstairs lounge area.

The kitchen and utility areas are well appointed with double gas oven and hob, washing machine, large fridge freezer, water cooler, etc... Cooking here is easy as there are many supermarkets and two major hypermarkets based in the city, WalMart and Carrefour. As well as providing all the food and drink you would be used to at home, they have a tremendous range of meat, fish and exotic vegetables. They also sell snorkelling gear, flip flops and other beach items.


If you want a bit of activity whilst here, why not hire a beach buggy with guide to take you to some of the beautiful beaches off the beaten track. A ten minute walk along the oceanfront promenade takes you to boats where you can go snorkelling on islands that appear at low tide in Joao Pessoa bay. These boats also serve food and drinks whilst you are out there.
